I purchased a file but I haven't received it yet, where did it go?
Very shortly after purchasing, you will receive a link via email to download your file. Depending on how your email is set up, there is a chance it may go into your SPAM folder. If it didn't go into your SPAM folder, make sure you are checking the email that you used to purchase from Moderntype Designs. If you are still having problems locating your file you can request another method of transfer.
Can I edit every line on your forms?
Many of our forms can be edited, but some can not. On our editable ones, you can for example, add your company information and column headers (our product photos show editable fields marked in blue). If you would like to edit more than this, you can request a custom order.
How long is your turn-a-round for a custom order?
Typically, a custom order for a digital file takes 1-2 working days.
I don't want to have editable fields. Can you set it up so it is permanent but is still a PDF?
Absolutely. Some of our forms are, if not, just let us know what you want on your form and we will get started!
I'm getting horizontal streaks through my printout, how can I fix that?
Adobe has acknowledged this problem and it is suggested to make sure you have the most recent version of Reader. If you are still experiencing problems, please let me know and I can create a fix for you.
What is an "editable PDF"?
Simply put, it is a PDF that you can make certain changes to, all without having to purchase any extra software.
I can't edit my "editable PDF", why not?
First, please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Acrobat Reader (free).
After you have downloaded Reader, make sure your editable PDF is being opened using Reader and not a different default software.
If you are using Acrobat from Creative Cloud, you do not need to click on any "editing" tools. Simply click into each blue field as soon as you open the file.
